Are your boat tours suitable for pregnant women?

For strict safety and medical liability reasons, our boat tours are not suitable for pregnant women, and expectant mothers are not permitted to participate.

While we would love to host you, the health and safety of our guests is our absolute top priority. Operating in a marine environment presents several unpredictable risks that are simply not safe during pregnancy:

  • Boat Motion: Our tours operate on speedboats. Even on calm days, the ocean can be unpredictable, and the boat will inevitably bounce over waves and wakes. The repetitive impact of a speedboat is medically unadvisable during pregnancy.
  • Physical Hazards: Decks can be slippery, and getting in and out of the ocean requires climbing a vertical marine ladder while the boat is shifting in the water.
  • Remote Locations: Our tours travel to remote marine park reefs. In the event of an unexpected medical emergency or complication, we are far from immediate shore-side medical facilities.

We heavily rely on our guests to be honest about their medical conditions when booking. If you are pregnant, we strongly advise against booking a boat tour and recommend looking into Cozumel’s beautiful, shore-based beach clubs for a safe and relaxing day!
